New Moon in Virgo 2025, part 2
Virgo is a very complicated sign that has been greatly misunderstood over the years. (Please see my first New Moon in Virgo article here, https://starsbydana.com/the-wake-up-call/) It is the very sign of the Great Mother Earth but Mercury is the planet that it aligns with. Mercury represents how your think and communicate, it is very cerebral. So Virgo is a thinking Earth sign.
Now, I’m not saying that the other Earth signs of Taurus and Capricorn aren’t thinkers but Virgo has tendency to take it to the next octave! They are well known for being the overachievers and over-thinkers of the Zodiac.
With this intense eclipse season with TWO New Moons bookmarking it, we are being asked to let go of the overachiever and nurturing what is fruitful for you. Perfectionism is a no-win scenario that will only drain your energy and leave you empty. Choose what is meaningful and sustainable.
This New Moon is HIGHLY aspected with Saturn (the planet of realistic adulthood) and Neptune (the planet of dreamy fantasies) so there is going to be some confusion going on. On one hand you’ll find you want to organize the house and on the other hand you’ll want to lay in a meadow writing poetry.
Balance the two.
That is what this is all about. And we have help.
The equinox is the very next day when the Sun will move into Libra and themes on balance will really move to the forefront.
Meanwhile, time to work on all those issues that you have been shown during this Virgo eclipse season that need to be changed. You know, all the places you are working too hard and you feel empty.
Or all the places that you need to organize but just don’t make it a priority. I know that has been a huge theme for me during this powerful Virgo season. I’ve been making lists of all the messes that need my attention.
You have been shown what changes you want to make, now the trick is to make a sustainable and effective plan to do it. Working harder is not the answer, working smarter is.
